What to expect on the day of your charter:
Generally the Charter day starts a little before daylight to get you and your passengers aboard. Arrival time will be set at the time of booking or at the time your crew wants to start. Half days are generally not available.  Contact us with special requests.

Generally, a full day charter is intended to the previously noted time limit, fish limit (“catching a limit”), seasickness (of one of the passengers requesting a return to shore), or exhaustion (so tired from reeling in fish). Whichever comes first.

We fish April through September in Lakes Erie and Ontario. Spring time in these lakes and tributaries bring Steelhead, Browns, Kings (Chinook), Coho and Lake Trout as primaries. Late Spring and Summer brings the Walleye invasion into the Eastern half of Lake Erie; while we find Lake Trout, Kings, Coho, Steelhead Trout and some Browns. 

COVID-19 and United States Coast Guard Medical Certificate Information:
- Captain maintains a current USCG Medical certificate

- All New York State and CDC COVID-19 guidelines are in effect.

 

What to expect on the day of your guided hunt:

Generally the guide begins the evening before with a scouting report.  Arrangements can be made to meet at the site or local mutually agreeable area prior to the hunt.  If your hunt includes overnight accomodations, check-in is at 1 PM and check-out is anticipated to 11AM.  The hunter is expected to provide all necessary equipment for hunting, including clothes, appropriate NYS DEC approved weapons and implements, and ammunition.  

 

 

PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS:

  • Down payment of at least $500 is expected within 7 days of booking.

  • The remainder trip charges are due no later than one day prior to the scheduled event.

  • All major Credit Cards are accepted and is the preferred method of payment.

  • Invoices will be e-mailed to the trip coordinator ahead of the scheduled trip.

  • Check payments can also be accepted in special circumstances.

  • Full refund for scrubbed trips due to weather (Capt. Mike Rauh decision) or cancellations made 30 days prior to trip

 

ZERO TOLERANCE!!

Any illegal drugs on board are prohibited by Federal Law. The Captain and crew support the U.S.C.G. & US Customs Services Programs of ZERO TOLERANCE, no drugs in any quantity are permitted on board. All drugs will be reported to the U.S.C.G & US Customs immediately and the remainder of the trip / guided hunt will be forfeited immediately without refund.
