What to expect on the day of your charter:
Generally the Charter day starts a little before daylight to get you and your passengers aboard. Arrival time will be set at the time of booking or at the time your crew wants to start. Half days are generally not available.  Contact us with special requests.

Generally, a full day charter is intended to the previously noted time limit, fish limit (“catching a limit”), seasickness (of one of the passengers requesting a return to shore), or exhaustion (so tired from reeling in fish). Whichever comes first.

We fish April through September in Lakes Erie and Ontario. Spring time in these lakes and tributaries bring Steelhead, Browns, Kings (Chinook), Coho and Lake Trout as primaries. Late Spring and Summer brings the Walleye invasion into the Eastern half of Lake Erie; while we find Lake Trout, Kings, Coho, Steelhead Trout and some Browns.

What to expect on the day of your guided hunt:

Generally the guide begins the evening before with a scouting report.  Arrangements can be made to meet at the site or local mutually agreeable area prior to the hunt.  If your hunt includes overnight accomodations, check-in is at 1 PM and check-out is anticipated to 11AM.  The hunter is expected to provide all necessary equipment for hunting, including clothes, appropriate NYS DEC approved weapons and implements, and ammunition.

  • Down payment of $250 is expected within 7 days of booking. The remainder is due prior to the scheduled event or upon first arrival at the dock / guided hunt if prior arrangements have been made. Credit Card payment is preferred; however, check payments can be accepted prior to the scheduled event. Credit card payments can be taken on site or over the phone.

  • Full refund for scrubbed trips due to weather (Capt. Mike Rauh decision) or cancellations made 30 days prior to trip
